The more full our group (that’s why space is limited) the more you’ll gain from everyone’s ideas, their current stage in the process and you’ll be so much richer with a little help from your friends.

Have You Met Some of My Students?
Before you go to enroll in this brand new program, however, take a look at the amazing books my most recent students have published. Note, this is just in the last year and a small sampling of more than 25 students I’ve coached to finish writing publish and market their books. Every year, I feature my recent students, their books and just a snippet of their journey. Take a look so you can see yourself doing the same.
First up, Mr. Canedy hired me through a referral from a mutual acquaintance. Throughout the pandemic, he was largely in charge of his aging mother’s care, and he says Alexa (yes, the Amazon device in millions of homes, today,) provided him and his mother with some semblance of security, companionship (games, trivia,) and connection to other family members set up with the device too,) and so much more. Ask Alexa: A Guide for Seniors is a book he wrote, which I also enjoyed reading various passages and learning about my own Alexa’s underutilized tools and, yes, limitations, and it’s a short, fast-paced read, perfect for gathering information, and making an informed choice too, on whether or not to purchase once you see what it can do. Though I swear mine is aging and hard of hearing, I still enjoy her. LOL :)
Ms. Alice and her friend, the impetus behind the book, when we met at Cracker Barrel to deliver and reveal the book! Ms. Alice says:
I finished writing my first book, but I had no idea how to publish it until I turned to Tracee Garner! She patiently took me through the many steps to refine and polish it. I could not have held my published book in my trembling hands without her expert advice, her knowledge, and her sweet encouragement!
This past year, I worked on my first children’s book with student Ms. Freddie who has been a Maryland Public School System’s special education educator for over 30 years and retired just last year. Do you know, I’ve been hearing about her book since I was a child? Her first order of business out of retirement was to finish her first children’s book. Ms. Freddie has had this story for a long time, and it’s based on one of her own children, around subjects of school bullying, asking for help, and so much more.
We need to be sharing with kids of any age to empower them and help them learn ways in which to speak up for themselves, and ask for help. In the course of our working, we have secured an illustrator, got all the illustrations done, a few round of edits, cover design, all while maintaining Ms. Freddie’s original vision for the book. We also completed a teacher guide, mini curriculum, and some coloring pages for the children. I was so excited to hold her, No Tattle Telling book in my hands and share in the joy of her accomplishment with her.
Now, this particular book I’m listing just for fun. I hope it will one day see the light of day one of these days, but it’s more of a keepsake gift that I designed for my very own brother. I do some light designs but ONLY for nonfiction books. The title is something my brother told me over twenty years ago, maybe when he returned from college (he was thinking he knew everything as my OLDER brother, okay) and let’s just say its the only advice and the best advice. So I gave this to him one Christmas, it’s the cover, and yes, it’s an actual paperback book, (but we can make a hardcover easy peasy) and inside I put journal pages for him to begin penning his story. Some day I hope he will, and my Mom too. I just see myself on the The Today Show one day sharing how I made authors out of my own family members. It was a fun little gift that he truly enjoyed.
I’M READY TO GO!
